1. About Needle
Needle helps you discover music from public social-video links by analysing submitted public content and matching music candidates to available catalog information. Features and supported sources may change over time.
2. Acceptable use
You may use Needle only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the URLs and content you submit and for ensuring that you are allowed to access and process them. Do not submit private credentials, private content, unlawful material, or content in a way that violates the rights of others or the terms that apply to the source platform.
You must not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse engineer, interfere with or circumvent Needle's usage limits, security controls or subscription checks.
3. Free usage
Needle may provide a limited number of free Drops so you can evaluate the service before a paid subscription is required. Free-use limits may be enforced using an anonymous installation identifier and backend usage records.
4. Needle Pro subscriptions
Needle Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Available plans, billing periods and prices are displayed in the app using current App Store information for your storefront. Unless an introductory offer is explicitly shown by Apple, no free trial applies.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple and use Restore Purchases in Needle where available.
Monthly and yearly Needle Pro plans provide the same core Pro access for different billing periods. Apple controls billing, renewal, refunds and subscription-management rules.
5. Service availability
Needle depends on third-party platforms and service providers. Social sites may change access rules, remove content, require authentication, block automated retrieval or become temporarily unavailable. Music recognition and metadata matching can also be incomplete or inaccurate. We do not guarantee that every URL, video, track, album or playlist handoff will succeed.
6. Third-party services
Needle may interact with Apple, RevenueCat, Google Gemini, Spotify, Railway, ScrapeCreators and public social platforms. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. Needle is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Spotify unless explicitly stated otherwise.
7. Intellectual property
Needle, its app interface, branding and original software are owned by or licensed to JackalRed. Music, social videos, artwork, metadata and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Needle does not grant you ownership of third-party content.
8. Suspension and abuse prevention
We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce usage limits, investigate abuse, comply with law or prevent excessive automated use. Pro access is intended for normal personal use and may remain subject to reasonable technical and abuse safeguards.
9. Disclaimer
Needle is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect recognition accuracy, continuous availability of third-party sources or that every discovered item will remain available on a music platform.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, JackalRed will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of Needle, third-party platform failures, unavailable source content or inaccurate recognition results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Needle Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as Needle changes. The current version and update date will be published at this URL. Continued use of Needle after an update is subject to the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
